Things on the floor/wall part is there to keep cats away. They like to rip old wall paper and it keep us awake at nights and rip my mind apart as well. So I want to get rid off the ugly wall paper and ugly marks and ugly things lying thins on the floor. And this is how it looked.
First thing is to get rid off all the nails and paintings on the wall.
And here you may see the damage and even the green wall.
And here is some more damage and the one guilty cat who wants to help ripping the wall paper off. For ripping the wallpaper I use palette knife, water and a sponge. Making the wall paper wet, it comes off easier.
And then, you just take moldings off, in this case it was good idea because the wallpaper was under it and over it. Most off the time when people renovate, you can just put new wall paper on top of the old one (just don´t use same seam parts) and you can line the paper with molings without taking them off by using a wall paper knife. Anywho, I wanted them all off, because this time I am painting this wall pure white. I want our entry became more brighter, it is way too dark. And wh would hate that old paper which cats want to kill. So yeah, this is what I ended up doing today, and I am doing this today and tomorrow until the whole wall is green, that is the wall underneath for all the wall paper layers which they were like at least 5 layers. 3 bags of carbage, more yet to come!
